Lukashenko demands the liquidation of private companies that refuse to create trade union organizations

Aleksandr Lukashenko referred to the creation of primary trade union organizations in the private sector as to “a sore point” and demanded that measures should be taken against those companies that refuse to do so.

“The creation of primary organizations, first of all in private structures, is a sore point. If there are still some companies that do not understand this, it means that the government should immediately discuss these issues and make specific proposals up to the liquidation of private structures that refuse to have trade union organizations”, – said Lukashenko at a meeting with the chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus Mikhail Orda on Thursday. The president is quoted by his press service.

He noted that this issue has been raised for several times.
