PROTEST PICKETING IN SOLIGORSK IN DEFENCE OF WORKERS OF "DELTA-STYLE" GARMENT FACTORY
November 20 the activists of Belarusian Independent Trade Union (BNP) held a protest picketing at "Builder" stadium in defense of women-workers of "Delta Style"JV who over the years can not register their primary organization.
The picket participants had various posters and placards of the following content:
"The constitutional right for freedom of association is breached",
"No more tyranny of officials banning registration of our primary union structures",
“Stop violations of Constitution and Law "On Trade Unions"
"We demand respect of constitutional norms on establishing and functioning of trade unions”.
The picketing was attended by the chairman of BNP Vasily Korobov, vice-chairman of BNP Nikolai Novik, chairwoman of Soligorsk regional BNP organization Natalia Mikhnyukevich, Head of BKDP Women's Network Irina Zyl, activists of the Belarusian trade union of radio electronic industry (REP).
Solihorsk garment company was represented by Elena Zabolotskaya and other women-workers.
