Worker died at MTZ

A foreman of the forging shop of the thermal section was trapped between the walls of the cylinder shot blasting machine.

He died, reports the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

On August 20, at 4:28 p.m., the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a message stating that a man was trapped between the walls of the cylinder shot blasting machine in the forging shop at Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ) in Minsk.

The arrived rescuers took the body of a 36-year-old man out of the cylinder.

“The cause of the incident is the violation of safety rules by the victim”, – says the statement of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
