Worst estimates of Belarus in 2021

    Thinktanks.by has published the ratings in which Belarus received the worst estimates in 2021.

    For the first time, Belarus has entered the top 10 countries with the worst rights for workers. This is stated in the 2021 ITUC Global Rights Index.

    In the ranking on the relative number of prisoners per 100 thousand inhabitants, published by experts from The World Prison Brief (WPB) and the Institute for Crime and Justice Policy Research, Belarus ranked 20th in the world. According to researchers, there are 345 prisoners per 100,000 of the population in Belarus.

    The international organization Reporters Without Borders has published its annual World Press Freedom Ranking. Belarus dropped to 158th out of 180 countries in the ranking. It has the worst rate among European countries.

    In the Digital Freedom Index, Belarus ended up in the last ten countries, ranking 7th from the bottom – between Myanmar and Turkey.
